The Catalan Winter Bird Atlas 2006-2009 is a project coordinated by the Catalan Ornithological Institute with the aim of establishing the distribution, abundance and ecological requirements of the bird species of Catalonia in winter. It is supported by the Departament de Medi Ambient de la Generalitat de Catalunya and the Fundació Territori i Paisatge.
